Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with error correction capabilities
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead prototyping of superconducting qubit systems at millikelvin temperatures
- Optimize quantum algorithms for 99.9% fidelity in real-world deployment scenarios
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum software-hardware integration
- Contribute to IEEE quantum computing standards committees
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or superconducting systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and FPGA development
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and dilution refrigerator systems
- Track record of translating theoretical models to physical implementations
