Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for practical industry applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum hardware architectures with 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Develop quantum security protocols resistant to next-generation cyber threats
- Present quantum roadmaps and breakthrough findings to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Drive open-source quantum initiatives and contribute to industry standards development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation tools
- Experience leading quantum projects with $10M+ budgets and multidisciplinary teams
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy challenges and near-term quantum advantage applications
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies or transitioning research to production
