Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Lead the development of quantum error correction protocols to achieve practical quantum advantage
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for material science and drug discovery applications
- Mentor junior quantum scientists and publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals
- Drive quantum security initiatives to protect next-generation digital infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and algorithm development
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing publications
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
