Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing infrastructure
- Research novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design quantum-compatible software interfaces
- Present quantum computing breakthroughs at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum architecture design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (QASM, OpenQASM) and frameworks
- Proven track record publishing in quantum computing research or patents
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction techniques
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
