Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise and research applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in quantum algorithm development
- Develop error-correction protocols and optimization strategies for quantum stability
- Collaborate with product teams to translate quantum capabilities into commercial solutions
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (e.g., topological qubits, photonic computing)
- Present technical roadmaps and breakthrough findings to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Secure and manage quantum computing infrastructure in hybrid cloud environments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced R&D leadership
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithm optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategies
- Security clearance or background in quantum-resistant cryptography preferred
