Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and drug discovery
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processor systems with 10,000+ qubits
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-classical hybrid computing integration
- Develop error-correction frameworks for quantum supremacy applications
- Secure patents for quantum computing methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Drive industry standards for quantum security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Published research in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in C++/Python for quantum simulation environments
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Track record of leading high-stakes R&D projects
- Clearance for DOE/NASA quantum initiatives preferred
