Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization
- Collaborate with physicists to resolve quantum decoherence challenges
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing solutions for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Research emerging quantum technologies and publish findings in leading journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum hardware integration
- Published research in quantum computing or top-tier conferences
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects from concept to deployment
