Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Lead research publications in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, ACM)
- Translate theoretical quantum concepts into scalable software solutions
- Conduct quantum system simulations using industry-standard frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum information theory and quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Python with quantum libraries)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation strategies
