Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with 50-qubit processors
- Lead open-source quantum computing projects with global research communities
- Translate complex quantum phenomena into practical business applications
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms using Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence principles
