Responsibilities
- Architect and execute quantum computing research roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Secure and manage partnerships with leading academic institutions and quantum hardware providers
- Translate theoretical quantum models into production-ready prototypes with 99.9% fidelity
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and secure patents
- Mentor next-generation quantum engineers through our Quantum Leadership Academy
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing top-tier quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience leading technical teams with $1M+ research budgets
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum security protocols preferred
