Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for real-world applications in cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Design and execute large-scale quantum simulation experiments using superconducting qubit systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) with 2+ quarterly outputs
- Mentor a cross-disciplinary team of 5+ physicists and engineers while securing $500K+ in annual research grants
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA to prototype quantum-resistant security protocols
- Present findings at global tech forums including World Economic Forum and IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in quantum computing with 10+ peer-reviewed papers
- Mastery of Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing systems (D-Wave, IBM Q)
- Strong track record of securing government/industry research funding
