Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes in cryogenic environments
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate quantum solutions into cloud platforms
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF/DARPA grants and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum control systems
- Published record in quantum computing research
