Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum error correction protocols
- Develop scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Collaborate with MIT/Stanford on quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Secure patents for quantum encryption methodologies
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction
- Expertise in machine learning for quantum systems
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
