Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation techniques and quantum error correction protocols
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware performance metrics
- Collaborate with AI teams to create hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish high-impact research in leading scientific journals and conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, and complex analysis
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel programming
