Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum machine learning development
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science)
- Secure $2M+ in annual government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD interns and junior researchers
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for commercial applications
- Collaborate with hardware team on qubit stability improvements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published work in quantum information science
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Proven track record of securing research funding
- US citizenship required for government contract work
