Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation on quantum processors
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuits
- Publish in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $1M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks
- Published work in quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting/ion trap systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into prototypes
