Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum architectures targeting fault-tolerant computation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on superconducting qubit systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Advise on quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Quipper)
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum circuit optimization and simulation tools
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and noise mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to solve complex mathematical problems
