Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor performance
- Lead research in quantum machine learning applications
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage quantum computing infrastructure
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, etc.)
- Proven track record of published research in quantum technologies
- Ability to secure TS/SCI clearance if required
