Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead research teams in error correction and qubit stabilization
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners on quantum-accelerated molecular simulations
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals
- Develop proprietary quantum computing frameworks using Python and C++
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from NSF/DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design tools
