Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols in quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with physical systems
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum circuit validation and benchmarking
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum solutions
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proficiency in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact quantum computing research
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum hardware
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
