Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Lead research initiatives targeting quantum advantage in cryptography and machine learning
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our open-source quantum software ecosystem
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience with published work
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body physics
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Track record of solving complex computational problems
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
