Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in cryptography and AI
- Lead experimental development of superconducting qubit systems at cryogenic temperatures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through compelling proposals and technical documentation
- Mentor junior researchers and oversee quantum lab operations
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum threats by developing next-generation security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware engineering
- Strong background in machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid systems
