Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams to prototype quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for near-term quantum processors
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum-classical interfaces

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure NSF or DOE research grants
