Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop error mitigation techniques for 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Secure $2M+ in government grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish open-source quantum libraries
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum machine learning applications
