Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop patent-pending quantum error correction methodologies for scalable systems
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaborative innovation across disciplines
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from government and private institutions
- Shape company's 5-year quantum computing roadmap in alignment with market needs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum simulation frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum machine learning libraries
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding and manage large-scale projects
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in quantum information theory and topological quantum computing
