Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and scientific research
- Develop error-correction protocols to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to optimize qubit architectures for 2026-scale systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical computing
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our quantum computing curriculum
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse stakeholders
