Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum coherence beyond 2026 benchmarks
- Lead prototype development of topological qubits using superconducting materials
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Publish 2-3 peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature Physics/Quantum journals
- Mentor PhD researchers on quantum entanglement applications
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates encouraged)
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in tensor network simulations (TensorFlow Quantum, PennyLane)
- Demonstrated ability to work in cryogenic environments below 15mK
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra and topological mathematics
