Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures integrated with classical systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflow frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead implementation of quantum-resistant encryption protocols across global networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence optimization and error correction
- Create quantum security frameworks for financial and government sectors
- Document quantum system architectures in compliance with NIST quantum standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in high-performance computing architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with hybrid quantum-classical cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum security
- Security clearance eligibility for government projects
- Track record of leading complex technical projects from concept to deployment
