Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum network architectures with 99.99% uptime
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-safe encryption protocols
- Optimize quantum resource allocation across multi-site distributed computing
- Develop predictive maintenance systems for quantum hardware
- Create disaster recovery protocols for quantum data integrity
- Document quantum system architectures and integration methodologies
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum threats and security vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in high-performance computing infrastructure design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum cryptography protocols
- Certification in AWS Quantum Technologies or Azure Quantum
- Published research in quantum information theory or related field
- Experience with cryogenic system integration and control
