Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Lead implementation of quantum-safe cryptographic protocols across global infrastructure
- Architect edge-computing nodes supporting quantum network latency requirements
- Establish quantum benchmarking frameworks for next-gen hardware validation
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm implementation best practices
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning pipelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and surface code implementations
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Track record of leading complex technical projects with cross-functional teams
