Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and execute high-quality 2D animations that align with project vision and brand guidelines.
- Develop storyboards, animatics, and character rigs to ensure smooth production workflows.
- Collaborate closely with art directors and sound designers to synchronize visuals with audio elements.
- Optimize animation assets for various platforms, ensuring high performance and visual fidelity.
- Mentor junior animators and provide constructive feedback to foster a creative team environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and emerging techniques in 2D animation.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within strict deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in 2D animation, motion graphics, or related fields.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles, from character animation to abstract motion graphics.
- Deep understanding of principles of animation (timing, spacing, squash and stretch).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate creative concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
