We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Animator to join our award-winning creative team in San Francisco. In this pivotal role, you will transform static concepts into fluid, engaging motion graphics that captivate our global audience and elevate our brand presence.
As a key player in our design department, you will lead the animation process from concept to final render, ensuring high-quality output across various digital platforms including web, mobile, and social media.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-fidelity 2D animations and motion graphics for web, mobile, and social media campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with art directors and copywriters to interpret scripts and visual styles.
- Create detailed storyboards and animatics to plan complex scenes effectively.
- Optimize video assets for different bandwidths and screen resolutions without compromising quality.
- Maintain and update a library of reusable assets and animations.
- Stay abreast of the latest animation trends and software capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in 2D animation, motion graphics, or digital design.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of timing, spacing, and character movement principles.
- A professional portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- BS/BA degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
