Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design of complex AI/ML systems, focusing on scalability, latency optimization, and fault tolerance.
- Model Development: Spearhead the research and implementation of proprietary Large Language Models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning agents.
- Infrastructure: Optimize inference pipelines and deploy models on GPU clusters using containerization and cloud-native technologies.
- Ethical AI: Establish and enforce rigorous guidelines for AI safety, bias mitigation, and data privacy compliance.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data Science) to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Research: Stay ahead of the curve by integrating the latest advancements in transformer architectures and multimodal learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in Generative AI or LLMs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Deep understanding of deep learning architectures (Transformers, GANs, Diffusion Models).
- Infrastructure: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, and MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot complex mathematical and system-level issues in high-stakes environments.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.
