Responsibilities
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research into cutting-edge AI architectures, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative adversarial networks (GANs).
- Model Deployment: Design and deploy scalable machine learning models on cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) with a focus on real-time inference and low-latency edge computing.
- Data Strategy: Oversee the end-to-end data pipeline, ensuring high-quality data ingestion, cleaning, and feature engineering.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, tune, and optimize model accuracy and efficiency to handle production-scale traffic.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Ethical AI: Implement fairness, transparency, and safety protocols in AI decision-making processes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Solid understanding of C++ for performance-critical applications.
- Tools: Experience with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) and cloud platforms.
- Mathematics: Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and statistics.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile: Proven track record in Agile/Scrum development environments.
