Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business processes and requirements to identify improvement opportunities and translate them into actionable technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and executive leadership to define project scope and deliverables
- Create detailed documentation including process flows, user stories, and functional specifications using industry-standard methodologies
- Leverage data analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to identify trends, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and meetings to gather requirements, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on project objectives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business process documentation, requirements traceability matrices, and test plans
- Monitor project KPIs and post-implementation performance to ensure business objectives are met and ROI is maximized
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven environments, preferably in fintech or SaaS
- Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis, plus experience with visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of business process modeling (BPMN) and data modeling concepts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with stakeholder management across multiple departments including C-level executives
- Certification (CBAP, PMP, or PMI-PBA) highly desirable
