Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Process Modeling: Create comprehensive process maps, use cases, and user stories to document current and future state business processes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data sets to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks within business operations.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a key communication bridge between technical teams and non-technical business units to ensure alignment.
- Agile Facilitation: Support Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and validate that solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation including requirement traceability matrices and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a professional setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Tools: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify root causes of business issues and propose effective, scalable solutions.
