The Role:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end analysis of business requirements, ensuring that the final product meets the strategic goals of our organization. You will lead requirement gathering sessions, facilitate workshops, and drive the documentation of functional and non-functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering and analysis using interviews, document analysis, site visits, and workflow observation.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for the development team.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Create detailed process maps, wireframes, and user flows using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Axure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process gaps and propose optimization strategies.
- Perform root cause analysis for operational issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including requirements traceability matrices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a full-time capacity.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools is highly preferred.
