Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation: Conduct comprehensive interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for complex IT projects.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and propose data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and operational performance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation including User Stories, Use Cases, Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and the development team, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between current systems and future requirements to identify necessary changes.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios and ensure software solutions meet defined business needs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or consulting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and experience with requirements gathering tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience working in Scrum teams is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certification: CBAP or PMP certification is a plus.
