Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon-scanning initiatives identifying emerging technologies, market disruptions, and socio-economic trends impacting 2026
- Develop and maintain proprietary futures models using advanced scenario planning and probabilistic forecasting
- Produce high-impact strategic briefings for executive leadership and board members
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global industry forums
- Oversee a team of futurist researchers and data scientists
- Integrate foresight findings into corporate strategy, R&D pipelines, and product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruptive technology assessment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published author or frequent speaker at global innovation conferences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Proficiency in foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, Delphi systems)
