Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap through quarterly strategic planning sessions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends with transformative potential
- Author thought leadership reports for executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Establish innovation labs to test future-state concepts with real-world pilots
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight findings into development roadmaps
- Mentor junior futurists and build a culture of strategic innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with futures research methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology transformation initiatives
