Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy with quantifiable impact metrics
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI ethics and quantum applications
- Produce annual 'State of the Future' reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex technological trends into actionable business roadmaps
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budget through compelling ROI projections
- Mentor junior futurists and champion diversity in thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, strategic innovation, or advanced R&D leadership
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, MIT Tech Review) on emerging tech
- Proven track record of converting foresight into commercialized products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Experience presenting to C-suite boards and government bodies
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio of successful 5+ year strategic implementations
