Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ strategic initiatives
- Develop scenario-based frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings with visual storytelling
- Build cross-functional innovation labs to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate foresight methodologies across departments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 firms
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trajectories (AI, AR/VR, sustainable tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
