As a key member of our Global Futures Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D leads, and venture partners to anticipate technological disruptions, societal shifts, and market evolutions. Your insights will directly influence product development, investment decisions, and organizational resilience in an accelerating world.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and quantify emerging trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop 2026+ strategic innovation roadmaps with measurable milestones and risk mitigation frameworks
- Deliver executive briefings and scenario-planning workshops for board members and department heads
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Translate foresight insights into product development pipelines and venture opportunities
- Author quarterly Future State reports and publish thought leadership in industry journals
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional innovation teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS, MSc Foresight) required
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or innovation frameworks
