Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market impact
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and global tech trends
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder presentations on future scenarios
- Oversee cross-functional R&D projects targeting 2026 breakthrough applications
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track progress against 5-year targets
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, VCs, and academic thought leaders
- Present quarterly future-tech briefings to the Board of Directors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products/services
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience developing innovation metrics and ROI models for long-term projects
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Global market analysis experience across multiple industries
