Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market evolution and consumer behavior shifts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for alternative futures and black swan events
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions for unmet market needs
- Present futuristic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer research initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products/services
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data visualization skills (Tableau, D3.js) and storytelling capabilities
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from WFS or APF) highly desirable
