Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies with business objectives
- Facilitate C-level workshops on future scenarios and risk/opportunity assessment
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and socio-technical systems
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 environments
- Published author or frequent conference speaker on future trends
