Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and sustainability sectors
- Present executive-level strategic briefings and scenario-planning models to C-suite leadership
- Build and nurture an ecosystem of futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities and business development strategies
- Author thought leadership publications and represent Horizon Dynamics at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or successful innovation launches
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, synthetic biology, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., from WFS or APF) strongly preferred
