As a key member of our C-suite Innovation Council, you'll leverage cutting-edge foresight methodologies to identify paradigm shifts, develop scenario-based strategies, and pioneer breakthrough initiatives that will redefine our industry by 2026. You'll collaborate with global R&D teams, lead cross-functional innovation sprints, and present strategic blueprints directly to the Board of Directors.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-year strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological, social, and economic trends through 2026
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives and key stakeholders across 15+ global markets
- Develop quantitative innovation frameworks to assess emerging technologies' commercial viability
- Author annual 'Future Horizons' reports distributed to Fortune 500 partners and investors
- Manage a $5M innovation incubator portfolio overseeing 12+ disruptive ventures
- Represent FutureWorks at premier global forums (World Economic Forum, TED, etc.)
- Mentor junior futurists and build next-gen foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic innovation or futurism at Fortune 500 or scale-up tech companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams across 3+ continents
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Scenarios, Causal Layered Analysis, System Dynamics)
- Exceptional presentation skills with 50+ keynote speeches at global conferences
