Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual strategic foresight reports mapping technological, societal, and economic shifts through 2026
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives to prepare for disruptive futures
- Design and prototype next-generation solutions using emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI)
- Establish partnerships with research institutions, government agencies, and global innovation labs
- Create and manage Horizon Ventures' Futures Lab incubator program
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members through data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in trend analysis, horizon scanning, and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published work in foresight journals or industry thought leadership platforms
