Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on 2026 market disruptions
- Identify and validate emerging technologies with billion-dollar potential
- Drive innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present visionary roadmaps to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused talent pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Thinking, or equivalent
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotech regulations, or sustainable tech
- Published thought leadership in industry journals (e.g., Future Studies Quarterly)
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
